Saying goodbye to 2025 and bamboo’s images – bamboo as the future material on the podium

Saying goodbye to 2025 and bamboo’s images – bamboo as the future material on the podium

As the year 2025 leaves endless spaces of improvement, development, creativeness and celebrations to innovativeness and change, we at Bamoon welcome the following year with a smile, laughter and optimism.

Bamoon was born in July, out of a belief in the future generation, that many clichés exist around bamboo and that there are various ideas for executions. The start-up owns two other pillars: a podcast and a publication of papers / editorial section.

Bamoon is committing to collaborations for 2026, has its first official sponsor, is activating and engaging with its audience about the diverse world of bamboo.

2026 will be filled with saved dates, exploring the development side of bamboo and the first generation launch of Bamoon’s interpretation of bamboo.

Bamboo is not only relevant for the start-up Bamoon, but has far more long-term substance. An anecdote to this is the material carbon fibre, which in 1980 stood in front of the same closed gate: too exotic, fragile, incomprehensible, hardly trustworthy – similar to bamboo’s image today. Bamboo is still barely represented in the premium and luxury segment, shaped by its image as eco grass and by assumptions of un-aesthetic appearance.

Years later, carbon fibre was processed into various well-known automobiles.

In conclusion, bamboo is the future material that will establish itself across different luxury segments, selected based on its future viability. This future viability combines intelligence and human-like qualities within bamboo.

Stay engaged and follow the journey.
